Warranty and Shipping

These terms apply to Albero Oy / GAS Guitarworks e-commerce and sales. We reserve the right to change prices, shipping costs, and terms without prior notice.
1. Prices and Orders
All prices include value-added tax (VAT) according to the delivery country.
For orders delivered within Finland, prices include Finnish VAT (25.5%).
For orders delivered within the European Union, VAT is charged according to the VAT rate applicable in the destination country. The online store calculates VAT automatically based on the delivery address.
For orders delivered outside the European Union, prices do not include VAT. The customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees and other local charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.
We reserve the right to change prices and to correct any obvious pricing errors.
Once an order has been received and processed, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email. An order becomes binding once the confirmation has been sent.
2. Delivery
Within Finland, products are delivered via Posti or Matkahuolto to the selected pickup point or by home delivery.
International orders are shipped via DHL. Shipping costs are calculated automatically in the online store based on the delivery address and the current rates of DHL.
Orders with a value over €300 are delivered free of charge within Finland. Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
The estimated delivery time for in-stock products within Finland is 2–5 business days.
For international orders, the estimated delivery time for in-stock products is typically 5–10 business days within the European Union and 7–21 business days outside the European Union. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, customs processing and local conditions.
Delivery times for custom instruments are always agreed separately at the time of ordering.
Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a tracking number by email.
3. Payment Methods
Customers may pay for their orders securely using the following payment methods:
- Paytrail – online banking, card payments, and invoice and instalment services
- Stripe – major debit and credit cards
- PayPal – payment via PayPal account or cards
- Resurs Bank – invoice and instalment payment options (available only for orders delivered within Finland)
Payments are processed securely through protected payment service providers.
Not all payment methods are available in all countries. The available payment options depend on the delivery country and the terms of the payment service providers.
Resurs Bank’s invoice and instalment payment options are available only to customers residing in Finland and only for orders delivered within Finland.

4. Warranty – New and Custom Instruments
All new and custom instruments come with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner.
The warranty is valid only for the original owner who has registered the instrument. The warranty is not transferable. This does not limit the consumer’s rights under the mandatory provisions of applicable consumer protection legislation.
For all warranty-related matters, the customer must always first contact us by email at [email protected] before any repair or maintenance work is carried out.
For customers in Finland, warranty repairs are carried out primarily at the GAS Guitarworks workshop. For warranty repairs performed in Finland, we cover shipping costs both ways.
For customers outside Finland, warranty matters are handled on a case-by-case basis. Warranty repairs may be carried out at the GAS Guitarworks workshop in Finland or, where possible, through an authorized service partner in the customer’s country. For instruments delivered outside Finland, shipping, customs and other related costs in connection with warranty repairs are agreed separately on a case-by-case basis.
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear (e.g. frets, nuts, pots, switches, pickups, finish fading)
- damage caused by improper storage, lack of maintenance, weather conditions or improper handling
- modifications or repairs carried out by the customer or third parties without prior approval from GAS Guitarworks
- damage caused by accidents or misuse
If, upon inspection, no defect covered by the warranty is found, we reserve the right to charge shipping costs and an inspection fee according to our current price list.

5. Used Products
Used instruments and accessories are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale. Used products are sold without warranty, unless otherwise stated.
All used products are inspected and serviced prior to sale. The condition of the product and any known defects are described on a product-specific basis.
With regard to used products, the provisions on liability for defects under applicable consumer protection legislation apply insofar as they are mandatory.
VAT on used products is determined in accordance with the margin scheme. VAT is included in the price but is not itemized and cannot be deducted by the buyer.
6. Returns and Cancellations (Distance Selling)
Consumers have the right to cancel an order placed in the online store and return the product within 14 days of receiving the product, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Conditions for returns:
- The product must be returned in its original condition and carefully packaged.
- The right of return does not apply to custom-made instruments or products that have been individually modified at the customer’s request.
- The customer must notify us of the return in advance by email, after which we will provide detailed return instructions.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is faulty or defective. This also applies to international returns.
The customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes and other official charges related to the return.
If the returned product shows signs of use, wear or other changes that exceed what is necessary to examine the product, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the product from the refund, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Failure to collect a shipment is not considered a return. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge delivery and handling costs.
7. Transport Damage
Please inspect the shipment and packaging carefully immediately upon receipt.
If the packaging is damaged or the product has been damaged during transport, file a complaint immediately with the carrier and then contact our customer service.
High-value instruments shipped internationally are sent with insurance in accordance with the carrier’s terms.
In cases of transport damage, the carrier’s insurance and compensation policies apply.
If the delivery is made to your home, please note any damage to the courier at the time of delivery.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
In consumer transactions, this does not limit the consumer’s rights under the mandatory provisions of applicable consumer protection legislation.
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation between the customer and GAS Guitarworks.
